  • Preview recorded files before uploading.

  • Set maximum recording duration (in seconds).

  • Customize bitrates for recordings.

  • Restrict usage to specific member groups.

  • Use the API from Deepgram or AssemblyAI to convert speech to text.

Important Note:

  • As recordings are uploaded as post attachments, users must have permission to upload attachments to use the recording feature.

  • Both Deepgram and AssemblyAI offer limited free usage tiers. If you exceed the free limits, you will need to pay to continue using speech-to-text feature.
