By default, Invision Community marks notifications as read when you open the notifications menu, even if you haven't actually viewed the content they refer to. As a result, notifications lose their bold formatting, making it difficult to distinguish content you have already read from content you haven't.
Notification Enhancer improves this behavior by keeping notifications highlighted until you actually read their associated content.
Instead of relying solely on the notification's read status, the application uses Invision Community's native content read markers to determine which notifications should remain highlighted.

Keeps notifications in bold until their associated content has been read.
Tracks individual comments and replies, so older notifications are not highlighted simply because new replies have been posted in the same topic or item.
Distinguishes new content notifications from subsequent comments, preventing older notifications from becoming highlighted again.

Cascading Select Custom Field adds a new custom field type that allows administrators to create dependent select fields using data from database tables. The second select is loaded dynamically via AJAX and automatically filtered based on the option selected in the first one, without reloading the page. This is useful for relationships such as Brand → Model, Country → State, Category → Subcategory, and similar data structures.
Because it integrates with the IPS Custom Fields model, it can be used anywhere in the suite where the underlying model extends Custom Fields support, including Profile Custom Fields and applications that implement their own Extra Fields systems.

Downloads SHA-256 Checksum automatically generates a SHA-256 checksum whenever a new Downloads file or version is uploaded. Members can view the checksums for each file and version and compare them with the checksum calculated from the file they downloaded. This helps verify that the downloaded file is identical to the file provided by the community and has not been altered or corrupted.
To calculate a SHA-256 checksum locally:

Community Tags adds a centralized area where users can browse, search, and filter all tags available across your community. It makes tags easier to discover and gives your community a clearer overview of the tags already in use. The application also adds a simple workflow for creating and managing tags directly from the front end.
Member roles
Members: can suggest new tags, depending on the configured group permissions.
Moderators: can review submitted suggestions and approve or reject them.
Administrators: can create and edit tags directly from the front end, making tag management faster and more convenient.
Widgets
Animated Tag Cloud: displays tags in an animated visual cloud. Its own widget configuration lets you choose the animation style and speed.
Most Used Tags: displays the most used tags with filters for different time periods.

Releases provide a clean and organized way to publish and manage software releases in your community. Projects are displayed in a simple tabbed interface, with their versions listed chronologically and the selected release showing its key changes, release notes, comments, reviews, and other relevant information. Members can also follow projects to receive notifications when new versions are published.
The application includes optional integration with Downloads. A Project can be linked to a Downloads file, allowing new file versions and changelogs to automatically create or update the corresponding Release version.
The interface is visually based on the Releases page used by Invision Community for IPS4.

Downloads Archive Viewer allows users to browse the contents of archive files directly from the Downloads file page, without downloading or extracting them first. Archive contents are displayed in an interactive folder tree, making it easy to inspect directories and files before downloading. When multiple archives are available, they are displayed in a convenient pop-up dialog.

Create projects with customizable columns and manage cards directly from the front end. Cards support descriptions, priorities, due dates, labels, member assignments, ownership, comments, and participant tracking. Cards and columns can be reordered with AJAX-powered drag-and-drop, while several management actions use AJAX and IPS dialogs for a fast, seamless experience.
Projects support different visibility modes, dedicated project teams, and granular participant permissions, giving project owners control over who can create, edit, delete, and move cards, manage columns, and perform other board actions.
Most day-to-day project management is handled entirely from the front end, including cards, columns, assignments, teams and permissions, while administrators retain centralized control through dedicated AdminCP sections for Projects, Columns, Labels and Settings.
